On computers where Camtasia is not installed, you can download the TSC2 Codec for free to play TREC files. The TREC file format (using TSC2 Codec) is a single container for various multimedia objects including video clips, images, screen captures and audio/video effects. The Editor allows import of various types of video, audio and image files including MP4, AVI, MP3, WAV, PNG, JPEG, and other formats into the Camtasia proprietary TREC format, which is readable and editable by Camtasia. In order to provide localized versions of the produced videos, subtitles can be added with the captioning feature. On the Timeline, overlays of various types like annotations may be added, including user-defined settings, such as when and how to display the cursor and pan-and-zoom effects such as the Ken Burns effect. The Library stores reusable media across multiple projects. In Camtasia (also known as the Editor), the Media Bin is where media (screen recordings, voice-overs, etc.) for the current project are stored. Windows users may also install an add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint that will allow them to initiate recording of a presentation from within PowerPoint itself. Camtasia also supports dubbing in other audio tracks or voiceover during post-capture editing. Camtasia Recorder allows audio (and webcam) recording while screen recording is in progress, so the presenter can capture live narration during a tutorial or presentation. The TREC file can be saved to disk or directly imported into the Camtasia component for editing. In Camtasia Recorder, users can start and stop recording with shortcuts at any time, at which point the recording is halted, and Camtasia Recorder can render the input that has been captured into the TREC format. The third step is to export the produced video as a local file ( MP4 or other file type), or to upload it to a media or file-sharing platform such as YouTube or Google Drive. The second step is to edit the recorded video in Camtasia, adding transitions and annotations with its editing features and effects, such as cursor effects and visual effects. Multi-display configurations are supported. The first step is to record a video (from a specific region or fullscreen) with Camtasia Recorder. The features are structured around the three main steps of the program workflow: recording, editing and export/sharing. Camtasia is available in English, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Spanish and Chinese versions. Other multimedia recordings (microphone, webcam and system audio) may be recorded at the same time or added separately (like background music and narration/voice tracks). This shows the small board that holds the Molex and RCA connectors: Here's a portion of the PC board drawings. You can clearly see that pin 2 is Ground and pin 4 is "REAR DET" (which is the input that tells the nav unit that a camera has been connected). I'm sure few people caught on because up to now nobody had posted a picture with the pin numbers labeled.įor anyone who doubts the pin assignments, here's a portion of the schematic that shows the 4-pin Molex socket: By using the connection that I described you will get the cleanest possible video signal. Grounding either the camera end of the shield or a pin in the Molex connector would risk injecting ground noise into the video path since automotive grounds are anything but "clean" (I was an HDTV engineer many years ago). Pins #2 and #4 should be tied together and none of the pins should be grounded. The video should be applied to pins #1 and #2, with the latter being the shield. Note that the advice being given about which pins on the Molex connector are for video input and grounding are in fact incorrect. You should end up with the end of the video cable transitioning to the 18 gauge wires (with a bit of a bulge near the end), and then the short 18 gauge wires go immediately into the Molex plug.Cover with larger heat shrink (plan ahead - slide this onto the video cable before doing anything else).Fold those junctions back onto the outer jacket of the video cable.Twist the other ends onto the respective conductors in the video cable, solder, and cover each with small heat shrink tubing.Crimp the pin 1 and 2 terminals onto two more short pieces of 18 gauge wire (instead of directly to the video cable).Tip: If you're decent at soldering, here's a way that will provide much better strain relief:

It was released as a number of episodes similar to Telltale Games' other games. Minecraft: Story Mode is an episodic interactive comedy-drama point-and-click graphic adventure video game. The Netflix release of the game was removed on December 5, 2022. However, both seasons of the game became unplayable due to the closure of Telltale Games in late 2018, causing the game to be ultimately discontinued on June 25, 2019. A retail version was released in December 2016, and the game's first season, excluding the DLC episodes, was released on Netflix in late 2018. The game was available for Windows, macOS, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, Nintendo Switch, Xbox 360, Xbox One, Android, iOS and Apple TV. In the second season, Jesse faces the powerful Admin. The rest of the first season follows Jesse and their friends, now the new Order of the Stone, on a new adventure after discovering a powerful artifact. During the first four episodes, Jesse and their friends attempt to reassemble an old group of heroes known as the Order of the Stone to save the Overworld from the destructive Wither Storm. The story revolves around a player-created character named Jesse, originally an everyman, who later becomes a hero together with their friends. The game follows the same episodic format as other Telltale Games titles, such as The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands, and Game of Thrones. A second season consisting of five episodes was released in 2017. The first five episodes were released between October 2015 through March 2016 and an additional three episodes were released as downloadable content (DLC) in mid-2016. Minecraft: Story Mode is an episodic point-and-click video game developed and published by Telltale Games, based on Mojang Studios' sandbox video game Minecraft. I think 'animating in Photoshop' is definitely a stretch where it comes to our understanding of the word animate. We look forward to work with you to make Animate CC the best animation tool ever. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank you all on behalf of the entire Flash Professional team for being so wonderfully supportive for all our efforts. Recognizing the platform agnostic nature of the product and the fact that it can output to multiple platforms including Flash/AIR, HTML5 Canvas, WebGL and even custom platforms, we’ve decided to rename Flash Professional to Adobe Animate CC. somehow I feel it may be akin to animating in Poser, where they brag that you can- but you never really see any good samples coming forth. I just can't get my mind around the concept of 'character animating in Photoshop'. these are BIG days in Adobe-land, who announced last night at midnight that they have 'officlally' pulled the plug on Flash, which has a lot of people upset. Mindblowing! Until you mentioned it I had no idear. Here's a quick (and very random) two minute creation: If nothing else the creations made with Fuse may be uesful for study of how standardized decals can be set to cover a wide variety of human characters.Īnd I suppose best of all, for those that are already subscribed to Adobe CC, Fuse is part of the subscription so you can start using it today. The latter I assume is going to be a major player for Adobe as they have stated they are encouraging folks to share their creations but have said rights to those creations will remain with the creators. Of interest to me personally is how customizable/hackable the originating mesh might be for creating more cartoony type bipeds as well as for adding props and clothing to the collection. The interest for most will be how Fuse generates characters that can be plopped into Photoshop, posed, animated, etc. Perhaps best yet the whole mix comes into A:M with textures intact. While the mesh is dense for the humans the acouterments/clothing are reasonable. OBJ format which is useful for A:M Users. It's primary purposes is to send the mesh off to Mixamo or to Photoshop CC where it can be articulated/animated.įuse does also allow export to. time again to cover some Adobe news that intersects with our interests.Ībobe has released the preview of Fuse which we've seen before under a different name.Īs part of Adobe CC, if you subscribe to that you get Fuse thrown in to the mix.įuse is a bipedal (human) mesh generator that has many custom sliders that allow for modification of the mesh. Moments that might have had more tension – such as coming upon (seemingly) abandoned campsites started to feel far less tense since I already knew that I wouldn’t actual stumble upon another person. Yes, there are human-esque husks that he’ll see from meters away, but the lack of face to face interactions added to the predictability of it. One of the aspects of this game that I found somewhat tedious was that, during its three hour run, Henry never interacts with anyone face to face. While not divulging any specific aspects of the story, I’m still going to consider this next section to delve into spoiler territory. While this wasn't a significant issue, I did find it bothersome as it become more and more frequent. As the story continued on I noticed that every few minutes or so it would glitch as it tried to render more of the forest. The only real technical fault I found with the game had less to do with its story and more to do with the actual gameplay. I don’t knock the game for this – as trying to create genuinely different conclusions is no easy feat, especially for smaller companies that have less money to work with. Even if you do decide differently on some of the more important aspects of the story, the end won’t vary much aside from a few different lines of dialogue. For example, deciding on the type of dog doesn’t have any real ramifications to the story other than it being a conversational piece later on in the game. For example, as with most games, the different choices Henry can decide from are often superficial. Now, as much as I love this game, I can't say that it's without it's flaws. Campo Santo might not be experts at illustrating the human body, but they sure know what they're doing in terms of creating breathtaking environments. I feel that the choice of focusing on the environment was a smart move because, I'll be the first to admit that every time I got a glimpse of Henry's arm/leg hair, I would cringe at how bizzare it looked. It’s one of the reasons it’s such a joy playing the game whether it’s discovering new environments, or even retuning to places you’ve already visited at different times of the day, it's always an incredible sight to behold. It's easy to tell that the team really took their time on making sure the foliage, the lighting, - really just the world as a whole was absolutely superb. While not photorealistic, there's something about the cartoonish nature of it all that makes the environment of Firewatch look incredibly lush and vibrant. I really fell in love with the world Campo Santo Studios created. Serious kudos to them for pulling that off Their conversations feel so organic and true and the way in which their relationship evolves from strangers to friends feels very authentic and natural. Luckily, actors Rich Sommer (Henry) and Cissy Jones (Delilah) do an excellent job keeping us interested in the ultimate fate of both of their characters. As the story focuses heavily on their relationship, it’s their responsibility to make us truly care what happens to either of them. Perhaps the best part of the story is the dialogue between the two lead characters. Where Telltale games will often limit the main characters' range to a large number of small areas, this game allows you to freely roam the entire terrain, which is actually pretty expansive. In fact, if you’re a person who enjoys the roaming aspect of those games, then you may find this even more enjoyable due to it being a free-reign, open-world styled game. ) then this is a game that I imagine you'll thoroughly enjoy playing. If you've ever played a Telltale game ( The Walking Dead, The Wolf Among Us, etc. Is he a bad man, or a good one does he follow the rules or is he a rebel? Firewatch is a game of choices, one wherein you take on the role of Henry and decide what type of individual he will become. However, even with Delilah by his side, neither will be prepared for the mystery that they inevitably find themselves a part of.įirewatch has a lot going for it, but for the purpose of this review I'm going to focus on it's two strongest points, which are its story and its artwork. Luckily his new boss, Delilah, is there to support him every step of the way by way of their walkie-talkie system. What he assumed would be a rather peaceful summer quickly becomes complicated as Henry is forced to deal with a number of unexpected issues that manifest within the forest. Firewatch tells the story of Henry, a troubled man who – after a string of unfortunate events – decides to take a seemingly simple job as a fire lookout in the Shoshone National Forest. Untreated hearing loss: Although people with APD often have normal hearing, untreated hearing loss and the auditory deprivation it causes may also lead to problems with auditory processing in the brain. None of the four behaviors ranked 2 SD above the grand means (i.e., inattention, academic difficulties, asking for things to be repeated, and poor listening skills) was ranked in common. Tumors: Rarely, an auditory processing disorder may be caused by a brain tumor. Item analysis revealed that respondents identified a reasonably exclusive set of behaviors characterizing APD and ADHD-PI. Audiologists ranked the degree to which each symptom pertained to individuals with APD, and pediatricians ranked the same symptom as it relates to ADHD-PI. The present study extends this research by comparing audiologists' and pediatricians' rankings of 58 behavioral symptoms associated with APD and ADHD predominantly inattentive (PI) subtype, the ADHD subtype that presents without hyperactivity and impulsivity. Previous research has demonstrated that professionals use different behavioral descriptors to characterize APD and ADHD combined and predominantly hyperactive-impulsive subtypes, which present with hyperactivity, impulsivity, and inattention. In five studies, the performance of children diagnosed with APD was compared with the performance of children diagnosed with SLI: in two with children diagnosed with dyslexia, one with children diagnosed with ADHD, and in another one with children diagnosed with LD. Auditory processing disorder (APD) and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) present overlapping symptomatology. Results: In total, 13 studies of which the methodological quality was moderate were included in this systematic review. The conception of the idea for the fitness center was about three. Tragedies resulting from the impulsive miscalculations and failures of preventive policing - the death of Eric Garner, suspected of selling cigarettes illegally, from a chokehold on Staten Island is another recent and horrific example - often lead to criticisms and reassessments of the “broken windows” theory, the idea that small-scale disorder must be combated to foreclose the possibility of greater menace and disruption.
